REALTY TRANSFER FEE
In all transfers of residential real estate in New Jersey, the seller must pay a realty transfer fee to the State of New Jersey. The fee is based upon the sale price of the home. There is a lower fee for citizens over age 62, low income housing under $350,000.00, and disabled individuals.
